NEWS RELEASE

March 3, 2019

Rock Hall MD

R. J. Dowling, President of the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company Foundation and the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company, is pleased to announce that two prominent citizens of our service area have accepted our request to serve as co-chairs of our very important fundraising effort called Campaign 2020. The purpose of Campaign 2020 is to raise $475,000 to replace the Fire Company’s non-working Ladder Truck 7 and to provide funds to replace Ambulance 7 which, while working, is more than 16 years old and has outlived its expected useful life of ten years.

The Foundation is fortunate that David C. “Danny” Bramble and Herman E. “Trey” Hill III have agreed to serve as co-chairs of the Campaign 2020 Committee.  This is very good news for “The Campaign” and our community.

Danny Bramble is the President and Chief Executive Officer of David A. Bramble, Inc. headquartered in Chestertown, MD.  David A. Bramble, Inc. is one of the largest highway construction companies in this area, with a large fleet of heavy equipment which will provide the RHVFC with a unique perspective on our equipment needs. Danny and many of his family members are long-time residents of the greater Rock Hall area.

Trey Hill and his father Herman Hill own and manage Harborview Farms. They tend substantial acreage in our area, with one of the largest fleets of tractors and farm equipment.  They are both committed to producing grain in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.  Their commitment to agriculture goes beyond Harborview Farms. Together, the team is pioneering new techniques to influence the agriculture industry as a whole, instilling a mix of traditional practice with innovation and creativity to uncover novel solutions that move the industry forward.  Each new season brings opportunity for growth, and Harborview Farms is testing all boundaries.

Our two co-chairs provide the Foundation with a terrific understanding of both the needs of the Fire Company and a deep and abiding commitment to our community as a whole. We thank them for serving
